Greetings SAR members,
I hope this email finds you well. My name is Shahana Munazir. I am a PhD candidate in Anthropology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and I am thrilled to introduce myself as the new Communication Liaison for the Society for the Anthropology of Religion (SAR).
As your Communication Liaison, I am dedicated to facilitating effective communication within our community and keeping you informed about the latest developments, research findings, events, and opportunities in the field of anthropology of religion. To achieve this goal, I will be sending out monthly newsletters to all members, which will feature curated content relevant to our field.
These newsletters will serve as a platform to showcase the remarkable work being done by our members, highlight upcoming conferences, calls for papers, job openings, and provide resources to support your research endeavors. Additionally, I encourage all members to contribute to these newsletters by sending any updates, news items, publications, or announcements pertaining to the anthropology of religion. Your contributions will help foster a vibrant and engaged community!
